Julie had to go to the hospital. I already text most of you while I was there in the hospital. Most of you know she didn't come with us yesterday..and that was the beginning of it all. The pain in her lower abdomin (dude..wtf spelling?) got worse overnight and at 6:00am she was in severe pain. We took her to the hospital and they found a ruptered cyst in one of her ovaries was bleeding into her stomach. They gave her a shit load of meds and she has two IV's. She had to get 2 plasma transfusions and 2 red blood transfusions. I just talked to her on the phone 5 minutes ago and they just hooked her up to her second bag of red blood, so yeah. She's doing much better with the pain meds, benadryl and another anti-hestamine. Hopefully she will be able to come home tomorrow night...if not, then Tuesday most definitley. <3
*this section will be taken down before she comes home, but its important*
It just made me feel really bad...with everything that happened last night and what she's going through now. Sometimes it's really hard not to believe Julie when she says some things or makes excuses not to do things, but she really does know her limits and when something is really wrong. Sometimes you can't tell if someone is in pain by their voice. Just because they sound fine, doesn't mean they are. That applies to everything in life. I'm sure everyone has pulled a "Nothing is wrong I'm fine" on someone who was asking you if you were alright and you really weren't, but just didn't feel like explaining it. The situation Julie left us with was similar in content, but it wasn't like she was trying to shake anyone off...it's more like no one would listen. Like I said, its hard to believe her sometimes, but if we are all really friends, we should always show concern for eachother. =) I'm not issuing this at anyone in particular, I just feel really bad about it and I thought it was important to say.
julie,
sad
