Distant Worlds
Just got back from watching Final Fantasy Concert at Sydney Opera House. It was beautiful! Both the music and the place! I've never been inside the Opera House but the interior was wonderful and they certainly did a great job maximising the accoustics of the place. Now the music...well, Nobue Uematsu-san's music has always been very beautiful! I'm just a bit sad that they didn't play some of my favourite songs, such as FFVII: Battle Theme, FFX: Sen no Kotoba, and FFX-2: Eternity: Memory of Lightwaves. But overall it was very, very, VERY satisfying! Hehehehe...well, actually there's another reason why it's very satisfying. More than satisfying, in fact, I was SUPER GRATEFUL, HAPPY, JOYFUL, etc!
Because, because...NOBUO UEMATSU-SAN sat right in front of me! RIGHT IN FRONT!!!!!! >///////< *silent scream of happiness*
I was so surprised! After he greeted everyone, he walked off stage and started to walk towards where I was sitting and then he actually sat on the chair in front of me! Kyaaaaaaa!!! Histeric mode: ON!
I and my friends were so surprised, our jaws dropped! And we started to ask each other if any of us got a pen, but unfortunately not. So we just felt content knowing that Nobuo-san sat near us.
After the interval, some fans (they even cosplayed as FF characters! Now that's a true fan!) who sat above called Nobuo-san and greeted him. Then someone decided to be brave and asked to have a photo with him. Seeing that, me and my friends decided to swallow our shyness and asked to have a photo with him. Unfortunately his attendant wouldn't allow us to have a one-one photo with him, but it doesn't matter!

So, soooooo happy!
I just felt bad for my bro, though. Because of a rather unfortunate incident, he had to sit separately from the us, and so...he didn't meet or take a picture with Nobuo-san, and now he's pissed. ^^'
Well I would be, too, if I were him. But...let's just say I'm very, very grateful to have a kind brother like him. ^^
