I have decided that Trainspotting is definitely in my top 5 movies. Along with top 5 movie soundtracks.Its just so wonderful. I watched it again last night for the 10000th time. The book is great as well, though difficult to understand at first since he uses the scottish accent to the fullest. There are some choice lines in there. some of my favorite being will be stated below in honour of me watching the movie again:
Rent: We would have injected vitamin C if only they had made it illegal!
Rent: Here I was surrounded by my family and my so-called mates and I've never felt so alone. Never in all my puff.
Rent: Never again, Swanney. I'm off the scag.
Swanney: Are you serious?
Rent: Yeah, no more. I'm finished with that shite.
Swanney: Well, it's up to you, man.
Rent: Gonna get it right this time. Gonna get it sorted out. Gonna get off it for good.
Swanney: I've heard that one before.
Rent: The Sick Boy method?
Swanney: Well, it nearly worked for him, hey.
Rent: Well, he's always been lacking in moral fiber.
Swanney: He knows a lot about Sean Connery.
Rent: That's hardly a substitute.
Rent: The downside of coming off junk was I knew I would need to mix with my friends again in a state of full consciousness. It was awful. They reminded me so much of myself, I could hardly bear to look at them.
Rent: People think it's all about misery and desperation and death and all that shit which is not to be ignored, but what they forget is the pleasure of it. Otherwise we wouldn't do it. After all, we're not fucking stupid. At least, we're not that fucking stupid.
Diane: You can't sit around all day with your heroin and listening to Ziggy Pop.
Renton: It's Iggy Pop.
Diane: Whatever, the guy's dead anyway.
Renton: Iggy Pop is not dead. He toured last year. Tommy went to see him.

In unrelated news, i visited the town Of Lewes today. A nice castle and a quaint little town. fun times....
