I'm only making this little post, when I haven't done it for years, just in case someone wants to talk to me from F!S.
So, introduction.
Astra, currently 19, living in San Diego, female. That little picture up there was held by me at last year's Comic-Con. I figured the villains deserved love too. What can I say? The world needs more good cheer. Granted, it's fucked me over a few times, but meh, you live and learn (and never go back to GaiaOnline).
Fandoms? Not much. I don't watch TV or go to movies though I pick up enough on some things I can identify them. Right now, Avatar is pretty tempting, but that would require me to download or watch TV regularly. It's mostly video games (Valkyrie Profile, Baldur's Gate) and RPGs (Ravenloft, Exalted). I used to be a fangirl for Harry Potter, back in middle and high school, but it has faded over time since the fifth book. I read the sixth, but I wasn't that interested in it and well, the seventh? Haven't read it.
However, Harry Potter, a long time ago, was what got me into roleplaying online. Oh, I knew about games in real life, in fact, my mom's a female gamer and got me into D&D, but I began liking roleplaying online because I could get to play more often. The accessibility is also how I got into system roleplaying online in high school, with the moderated Ravenloft chatrooms on White Wolf. I do PbP more now, but I do play two fun chat games on a regular basis, both Exalted. I love to roleplay, but I am a bit focused on school. Sorry.
