Lots of pictures from the day Bill and I got our keys. A couple of days late, but there were issues with internet availability.

Front door (actually taken after we went in, which is why the balcony door is open XD)

Living room/dining room/kitchen from the front of the house.

Living room from the dining area. For only having windows on one side, it still has a lot of natural light.

KITCHEN. I think it's the favorite room of both of us. Look at the stove! And the microwave! and the built in chopping area by the stove! The sink and dishwasher are on the other side of the breakfast bar (!) . Unfortunately, the dishwasher is filled with moldy water at the moment, but repairs for that are in the works.

Okay, up the stairs...

Second bedroom, with the balcony. Again, lots of light.

View from the balcony. The fact that there isn't a road/parking right in front (as there is with a lot of the other units) made moving more difficult, but it's nice having access to this lawn area and the headlights shining in the living room at night will not be missed.

Second bedroom from the balcony. Woot.

Master bedroom, which is to the right of the guest bedroom, from the perspective of that last picture. I think it's smaller than Bill's old room, but that's totally fine, because we don't have to keep everything in it :D

To the bathroom from the bedroom. Very convenient. Also, yay closets!

Master bathroom.

Washerdryer, just outside of the second bedroom (left). Bill was way more excited about this than he'll ever admit (again). On the right...

The Horribly Excessive Second Bathroom! This brings the grand total to 2.5 (there's a half bath downstairs, across from the door). It's nice though, it means we get to have a bathtub (which I wanted) and a shower that's just a shower (which Bill wanted).

Up the stairs again...

To the loft! This is great because we really wanted to find a place with a basement for storage, but this is pretty much like having a finished basement above the house instead. We might set up a futon for guests or a table for geeky games sometime later.

Oh! Also! We don't have the place nearly organized enough for kittens yet, but these are the two that we'll be getting (I think they were about 4 w old here):

Aww :D

I think we have everything moved in now except for a couple of bookcases still at Bill's old place and some stuff that's in storage. We're also getting a futon from Bill's mom for a couch type thing! So yes, all of our things have been moved, but they haven't been unpacked or anything. The whole downstairs looks like a disaster area :P

Bill got today off for working unbelievably long hours for the past couple of days and generally being good at his job, so we'll get to spend the whole weekend together! Ashley's tonight for this, as we couldn't go last week. I think I get a free pizza this time!

Time for work. Or lunch. Whatevs.
