the good, the bad and the barbs

saw the barbs last friday. they are one of those bands who are fun to watch live. as soon as they played their first song, everybody started pogoing which i haven't seen in a long while. the set was explosive, the vibe was energetic and the two guy-girl vocalist/guitarist tandem were beautiful people. saw a lot of old friends, indie kids, leather-clad punks, cyberpunks, posers and clueless fashionistas who got tickets from buying pony shoes. all in all it was a good show and everybody had a good time except for my friends laurie & jebs who got their cellphone stolen by some bozo who were slamming into people. fuckin' a.
