He stood against a far wall of the warehouse, watching the movements of the two angels. If demons could weep, he would, but it was impossible, despite the beauty of it all. Her eye twitched ever so slightly, it was an impossibly human thing to do but it was cue as to her anger. The opposing angel was male, build to the limits of the body with the same massive white wings. His however were well kept and in passing glance had the softest hue of a blue that human eyes only thought was the color of the sky at night; black. He had similar machinery coursing through his veins and wings; it curled around his ear and into what would be the jugular of his neck. His eyes were orbs the color blue hidden in his wings. What the same years had done to her, hadn't touched him with such a harsh grip. He said nothing and with a soft smile just bowed his head. She screamed and it was a thousand sounds wretched into one hollow, lonely noise. Her hands were thrown out and there was a second type of scream. It came from metal implants in her body as weapons broke out from skin and feathers and bones. Thick metal spikes dripped oily blood as they sprouted from her forearms, sickles arced off the top curves of dirty wings and a single, perfectly kept stiletto clicked into its hold from her wrist. He didn't flinch and neither she as she thrust that thick pike into his shoulder, going through him with the ease of a violent storm. She withdrew from him and thick fluid followed her out. It was one of six she made in him before dropping to her hands and knees, shaking from the adrenaline and terror. Finally the demon pushed from the wall in silence and went to retrieve the angel he called his master. His eyes moved to the male angel, lips parting to make the most pleasant experience the english language had ever known "I realize that I have nothing to do with this. However, if you will, indulge me as to what would make her do this." The male angel laughed a gruff noise that wheezed through the gaping wounds and bubbled out more blue blood. "I betrayed her long ago. That is all I need to tell you." The servant knelt in his perfectly pressed suit to reach out to her, digits held microns above the spikes of her arms. She hissed "Don't touch me." before shoving off the ground and a few feet back onto nimble toes. "Betrayed!? Is that what you call it? There isn't a human word for what you did to me! And after all this time you come back to me...I am Fucking Retired! I have no dealings with the legions of the fallen or the demons that now keep Gabriel's shame! And I will nave nothing to do with you!" "I have taken your blade and given the blood, I deserve your ear for these troubles." he spoke back in a soft voice barely above a flutter of wings. She laughed a horrible sound that bounced off the vast span of concrete and steel. Without a pause she slid the stiletto up to her left ear and cut it cleanly off, throwing it to the ground as she spoke "There. There is the ear you asked for. Just another pile of bleeding flesh you wanted from me. It can never be said that I haven't obliged you at every request. “No one moved, the stillness replacing the horror humans would have shown. She turned and walked a good length to leave out the bay doors, leaving the two males in her wake. The male angel's chest gave the slightest of heaves that resonated into his wings sagging over his shoulders. Slowly, he bent down and picked up the ear with a silk cloth, looking to the demon as he did "I didn't mean for this...to turn so badly. I wish for another meeting with her, when she has calmed." The demon gave the slightest of frowns "If I could take your life without consequence, you would not have had the chance to speak. I promise nothing to you, and have been reminded today of why she keeps such a state." The ebony demon stood, straitened his cuffs and turned in the direction she had, leaving the lone angel to his blood and feathers.
