About thirty minutes before I had to go to bed and listening to Kyuhyun sing ‘smile’ I found myself in a New York speakeasy in the 1920s. I loved the image and had to get it down. So this story isn’t about anything except an image and an emotion.

Love? Yes. Hate? That would be difficult to do when I love it. Confused? Nope, I understood perfectly. Or maybe I didn't and that's what makes it so nice. We can't understand everything. Sometimes we're just moved by them. >.> thoughtfullness...sleep deprivation is geting to me.

I am pleased with this. Very much so. *dances* or rather, i would dance, but I am reeeeeaaaaallly tired and I still need to take a shower...yeah...

So, Kyuhyun, jazz singer...hot. But we've already had this discussion.

Now you really have to write one where he's a flapper. Him or Heechul. XD

Love. Definitely. I love jazz and smile has to be one of my favorite songs of all time. T
I put it on as background music while listening (:P) but it really suits the story. I love (I'm sure using this word a lot..) how kyuhyun is just with music, that's all that matters to him and nothing compares to how he feels surrounded by it or singing. Great story! :)

Wow, that was beautifully written. You captured the essence of why music will always be universal. No matter the language the lyrics are written in, music is a language of its own and can covey its meaning without words. It's so easy to see a slightly smirking Kyuhyun in this type of setting. Beautiful.
