Yuletide!

My yuletide has been awesome -- my daughter has just lost her nap, so now she goes to bed at 7pm, and suddenly I have all this time in the evening and I spent Christmas Eve writing a last treat -- energy to write MULTIPLE STORIES! what is this glorious thing! -- and staying up too late, so I was a bit wiped out on Xmas day, but I got not one but four fantastic stories (Wendy/Hook and Sonny/Vinnie!) which I will post about in more detail later, and I was able to spend LAST night reading and doing a little more noodling, and just generally YAY.
Also, I posted about this in more detail over on the yuletide admin comm also, but I mention here too, I have created the Yuletide Recs collection on AO3 to collect bookmarks of Yuletide stories.
I personally love seeing the recs posted on the yuletide comm, but I do understand it turns into a bit of a flood, and also I am super-lazy and hate having to click through to multiple posts to find recs, so I thought this would be a nice option to have. The idea is that when you bookmark a story on AO3, just add the "yuletide_recs" collection to the bookmark, and it will automatically add your rec to the collection.
I have put in a few bookmarks to try it out and it's pretty neat because you can search the bookmarks to get only recs in say a given fandom/pairing, and sort either by date bookmarked or by date the story was updated (ie, so if you want to only see the latest stories from Yuletide 2013 you can sort that way), and all that good stuff. I'm hoping people use it!
