last minute not-a-real-DYA letter
Whooo! Yuletide story over 1000 words and could theoretically be wrapped up! \o/
I never managed to get a DYA letter posted, but I have been poked to post something for treats, plus it is fun to have these in journal to look back on, so am popping in my actual requests here for the record. :D
(Dear Yuletide Author: I hope you have had/are having fun and not excessive panic with these! ♥ I am so excited to see what you come up with!)
Damar Series - Robin McKinley
(no characters)
Any story told in this universe will make me so happy -- if you offered with something specific in mind, a pairing or a character you especially love, please write it for me! :D And if you offered anything and want inspiration, I'd love to see a story about another time period in Damar, either before or after the two books.
Black Jewels - Anne Bishop
Daemon Sadi, Lucivar Yaslana
I'd love some more adventures with the two of them. If you are up for it, give me the slash that Bishop only taunts us with! Or if you are up for something really wacky, I'd also be wildly on board for a fusion with this universe and basically any fandom I've ever read or written in (ie, put the other fandom's characters into Black Jewels universe), in which case you don't need to use any particular characters unless they work. But that is only if this sounds mad fun to you. :D
Dungeons and Dragons (Cartoon)
Eric "the Cavalier"
I would adore any story that makes Eric a badass without losing his snark. If you're into pairings, I'd be all for Eric/Diana, Eric/Hank, or Eric/Sheila. I'm also a huge fan of stories where Dungeon Master is not necessarily their pal and Venger is not necessarily pure evil.
The Fugitive (1993)
Richard Kimble, Samuel Gerard
If you can make the slash happen, go for it, but I'm really open to anything for these two. If you want an out-there idea: retell it in a universe where there's magic.
I would also be gleefully delighted with any of my perennial request favorites Dracula: the Series (Lucarrrrrd) or Witchblade (Sara/Ian/Irons) or Twin Peaks (Cooper/Audrey) or Daniel Craig's Bond/Judi Dench's M or the Transformers G1 cartoon (Megatronnnn)
There is also Vorkosigan (Ivan/Gregor) ever since
merryish infected me with that pairing with her gen story a few years back, and I am always up for some Ivan/Byerly.
And haha, not-actually-nominated-on-account-of-it-hadn't-come-out-yet MI:4 (Ethan Hunt/William Brandt) per my last post!
