poking for some front-end testing help!

Hey guys --
lim has almost finished a massive rewrite of the AO3 CSS (which for any of you playing along at home will make skinning the archive MUCH easier and also make skins a lot more robust -- more details to come once we are closer to the finish line). But before we can merge it into our main code, we need to do a browser compatibility testing pass.

If any of you out there would be willing to spend a couple hours over the next couple of days browsing a (sadly very slow) webdev and doing things like posting fake stories, setting up collections, etc, I would be hugely grateful! You do not need any experience testing and you don't need to know anything about CSS. All we need is basically an email listing any bugs you find in your browser.

We really need:

recent Firefox
recent Chrome
recent Opera
IE 6 (on Windows)
IE 7 (on Windows)
IE 8 (on Windows)
IE 9 (on Windows)

We would be wildly grateful for anyone who actually uses a screenreader day to day (vs someone only using a screenreader to test, that level of testing we've got covered).

Any other browsers (including mobile devices) are also welcome but these will be the MOST helpful for winnowing out compatibility bugs!

If you have or can load up one of these browsers on your computer and are up for helping out, please drop a comment or email testing.ao3@gmail.com and let us know:

- exactly what browser version(s) (check the "About" for the version number) and OS you have
- what time zone you're in & what time of day you are free to test over the next few days
- how much testing you are up for :D
- how we can best reach you (replying to your comment, IM, email, etc)
