Yep -- anyone can edit the entries anywhichway. The downside to "all stubs in one go" is there are literally thousands of Yuletide fandoms, so it will flood the "recent changes" page and overwhelm the regular gardeners -- so we are thinking for instance of saying "hey, we just made these 10 stubs today -- if you are into one of these fandoms please come over and edit!" and then 10 stubs the next day, and so on, just to keep the pace to something manageable.

If you want help with the wiki, let me know -- the basics you need to know are:

1) create an account

2) confirm your email address

3) once you are confirmed and logged in, all the pages will have an "Edit" link in the top-right corner -- you click the edit link and you can edit that page.

4) to create a new page, you just type in the name of the page into the search box and click "Go" -- if the page already exists you'll be taken there; if not, you'll be invited to create the new page.

5) the wiki editing box has formatting buttons on it, but the one really useful bit of wiki formatting to know is imo that you use equals signs (=) to make a heading -- == title == becomes a heading
, eg, and the more signs you have, the deeper the heading (ie, === then ==== then =====), and that will turn into a spiffy automatic outline for the article.

Other than that, I would say basically don't worry about formatting -- the gardeners will clean things up and you can pick up anything more by clicking "Edit" on articles that have the formatting you want to use, and copy-pasting from them. :)

Ah, yes, I can see why doing them all in one go would be problematic.

Thanks for the help! I set up an account a while back, and opened the Wilby Wonderful page to edit, but I was scared stiff of making a mess, so I chickened out!

Now, if only I could have a few gardeners following me around in my real life, clearing up any messes.
