I spoke with Christine last night and we actually talked for the first time in what seems like eternity. Since the separation things certainly have been strained, especially since the little ones are around. But the talk was inevitable. I've been working so hard lately I've felt detached from my friends and family and needed a getaway. Dom and Billy were gracious enough to let me intrude on their vacation a bit. I haven't told Ali as of yet, but I'm taking her and Elizabeth to Hawaii on Wednesday. It will be good to get away. *nods*
