while taking our last walk around the lake before it gets too cold, mike and myself found this bag of books outside of the zen center. so, being the curious human beings we are, we stole them. i mean, it was past midnight. i do not expect anyone was looking for those dusty creatures. we giggled as we read what was seemingly important enough to be highlighted by the original owner. if the sentence "the dog ran fast" was to represent each book in its entirety, imagine "the" being smeared by a now faded obnoxious yellow. one book was gold as it reminded us of our infamous world geography class. things discussed included the following: "we like your butt", erect under-lip hair, haiiiti, you know HAITI, yes haiti, around haiti, and haiti. *circular hand motion to the right, neck level*
we left the bag outside of perkins later that morning. i wonder what adventures they (the books) will take. let alone the path they have taken. being most were born circa 1993.
that was a couple and then some nights ago. now fast forward to recent. as sociable of a gal i am, i just do not care that much for parties. i get a lot more out of one-on-one with people i feel comfortable with. last night mike and i skipped a party and stayed in instead. as two, we are far more entertaining than a house filled with twats.
mentionables:
-had a dream in which i was dodging deer (herds, mind you) while driving home on bass lake road. quite close to reality.
-bought the new(er) sigur rós album. took a leisure drive while listening to it. cornfields. autumn colors. warmth in the car. mansion sighting. fan(fucking)tastic.
-i now smell like cocoa tamarind thanks to anthropologie.
