Finally, amazon marketplace had an offer low enough for me to consider and buy that terrible, terrible Witcher movie. You know, they one the author of the original books threatened to leave Poland over, because he felt so offended by his fellow countrymen? ;) Yeah, it's that one ( Read more... )

I think in the first picture the dragon doesn't look that bad (for a dragon...not for a majestic golden dragon)...but the close-ups somehow remind me of...I don't know...a children's movie XD
And as I still haven't read the books I cannot make a more qualified comment XD But it sounds like painful fun :D

Hm, I don't know. Even in the total the dragon just doesn't look very convincing. Maybe if the environment were computer generated too, but this way he just looks like a toy. And yeah, he's just too cute in the clopse-up. fortytwoeyes already said he reminded him of Poldi, and it's not too far off.

I couldn't have summed it up better.

on the one hand you keep thinking "what did you do to my beautiful books?!" and on the other hand you can't stop laughing at the exploding monsters, or the non-sensical jumps in between scenes. *g*
