[It's late, past midnight when the door to the hospital room Ikki's in is pushed open quietly.]

[and normally, that wouldn't be enough to wake the crow. Except that he's not sleeping this time, and immediately sits up, hissing faintly as he jars his ribs, eyes darting over to the door]

[There are all sorts of odd details about the sharkling in the doorway. For one, his hair's plastered down wet, but clothes look dry... and the hand holding the Fang Regalia is white knuckled.]

[Quietly, after a pause...] It's just me.

[frowns a little but relaxes some, noting the hold on the Regalia]

I guess I'm a little late in.. I'm surprised you're up.

[He puts them down on the visitor's chair and immediately, both hands are in his pockets.]
