Gaius does know his tea. He travelled all the way forward in anachronistic time to bring it back with him. Most of the anachronistic errors in Camelot are a result of this, as he's torn the fabric of time/space with all his tea fetching trips. It's about the most glorious use of Science, bb, no magic needed. ;D
