...too short.
I managed to do none of my homework, but fuck it. I'd rather relax.
I took care of "the kid" for most of the week. I found out what it was like to be a mom -- extremely time consuming hard work. Props to all the moms out there. You do have the toughest job. I'm not ready for it. Not for a looooooooong time.
Well I went to SXSW Friday and Saturday. I saw some crappy bands and I saw some really awesome bands. You need to listen to The Pinker Tones. They are this DJ trio from Barcelona, Spain that will dance your pants off! I got to interview them on a whim and they were extremely nice guys. Allison is also all kinds of awesome. They are pop punk band from Mexico City that's better than any of this Fall Out Boy crap. So I went all international at SXSW. As opposed to shaking hands, it was a kiss on the cheek with these bands. I love other cultures. I'm so damned Americanized.
This whole experience is similar to my college experience thus far. I've been embracing my "latinidad" so much more. I grew up in a very conservative, very white rural town. I've learned to really embrace and appreciate what I am. Not to say that I never appreciated my Mexican heritage, but I do so much more now. Latinos are going to take over the world soon. You just wait and see.
P.S. Pictures, soon, I swear. I'm so bad about that.
P.P.S. I need a new digital camera. My photos aren't too great...
