Cheshire cat twins, manga version, in truely horrid tracing paper scan, and I don't want to scan in the slightly better white paper version right now.
Also, I'm sorry, Kaoru, your face actually looked pretty good before I ruined it in an inking attempt.  At least Hikaru looks pretty good..and, uh, should I do something with Kaoru's arm/hand placement?  Maybe I should re-draw the whole thing...but then the odds I'll finish it decrease further.

.

I was reading an illegal!scanlation of the Ouran manga, and when Haruhi met the Cheshire twins they commented on how they were one cat split into two by the Queen's curse.  The line translated as "Well, being two is fun in its own way..." made me think of this.  If finished, that line'll go beneath them, around the entwining tails~
While on Ouran, ep15 was wonderful and well worth the wait *.*

I have a problem with inking, so I'm trying a tracing paper idea...but I don't think it's going to get me the nice linework I was hoping for -_-;;  Any inking/linework suggestions?  I've tried ballpoint and drip pens, but I always make mistakes and the lines are too scratchy.  Plus then you have to go over it on the computer, right?  I lack the time, patience, and arm health to go over the same picture twice.  I've thought about skipping the pens and putting sketches into the computer and "inking" directly on screen, but thus far it hasn't worked out very well for me.  I need to find more options to try T__T

About the arm, I got a cortisone shot Friday.  Five days and...I have no idea how well it worked.  A day or two before the shot, I pulled a tendon or something while doing wrist exercises and I've arguably been worse off with little idea for the shot's effectiveness.  If I truely have carpal tunnel syundrome, the shot would make the swelliung go down, if it does nothing then I've got a different problem.  But the pulled tendon thing would make my arm hurt really bad if I moved it up or down, let alone tried to write or draw, and I'm still recovering from it.  *Sigh,* I've done a bit of drawing when it wasn't hurting, but overall I STILL can't do any art yet.

At least I'm making excellent progress on my own list of to-do's, so I'm being productive elsewhere.
