So I go to Denton yesterday to rescue my poor mailbox from explosion due to excessive ammounts of backlogged mail and find a key in there. I'd recieved a package and the Postperson'd put it in one of the lockers. I only knew of one package I was gonna get, and it seemed too early for it to have arrived.
I was wrong.
Back in the apartment I open the box, dump out the annoying pink peanuts, and pull out another box about the size of a video casette. Pink on the back , white on the front with a representation of the iPod's circular track button. Open the box, peer curiously at the contents and marvel how it really *does* look like a lightsaber. Insert batteries, replace cap with a counterclockwise twist and it buzzes once to tell me everything's peachy keen.
Then I realized my nano was back in Tyler. Luckily my cd player radio's got a jack in the back. Plug everything in, turn the radio on. Not much happened, just a buzz or pulse everyonce in a while when it picked up a beat from a random song. I keep turning the radio dial and then suddenly the thing goes NUTS! Curious as to what type of music could've set it off so emphatically, I take the jack out to find....
My ohmibod's freaking out to CHRISTIAN music and the Focus on the Family theme no less.
Priceless.
