Shhh, it's alright. Just tell me where you are and I'll find you. Then we can go and search for your friends.

[This voice sounds especially nice to Cheria. It's been a few years since she last heard a motherly kind of tone directed towards her. Her grandpa tries, but it just isn't the same.]

I... I don't know. ... I was in Balonia and now... I'm not.

[ Truthfully, other than Mithos she hasn't had any other experience with children. Not many people trust a half-elf with their kids. But she just has that special talent in her. ]

Don't worry. I'll be sure to find you. Can you describe the place you're in? I'm familiar with the area around here so it shouldn't be too hard to find you.

Ahh, uhm... It's a forest. There's mountains, but they're really far away. [She pauses, still breathing deeply.]

Will it help if I hold the... journal device up towards the mountains? So it can see?

Yes, that would help. [ Martel is silent as she looks closely at the feed. ] Okay, I have an idea where you are now. Don't move, I'll be right there.

Ahh... All right. [She's fine with not moving, as her chest is still hurting. She'll just sit there and wait for someone to come get her.]

[ Not wanting to waste another moment, she puts the journal into her bag and runs out the door. A few moments passed before she reaches the area she's certain the little girl is lost in. ]

Hello? Are you out there?

[action]

[When she hears that voice, she glances at the journal for a moment, before lifting her head in Martel's direction. It came from over there, she's sure of it.]

Hello? ... I'm here!

[action]

[seraphgoddess]

[ She turned her head to the voice's direction and begins to walk aimlessly towards it. ]

Keep talking! I'll try to follow the sound of your voice!

[action]

[She pushes herself to her feet, still staring in Martel's general direction. She can't see anything yet.]

Ah... You're close, I'm sure of it! Just a little further!

[ The little girl voices leads her walking straight into a bunch of bushes and then stumbling into a clearing. She lifted up her head and smiled in relief at the person in front of her. ]

There you are!

[She looks up at Martel, a smile of relief appearing on her face. Thank goodness someone found her. Then she bows her head politely.]

... I'm sorry for having you come all the way out here.

[action]

[ She gives her a reassuring smile to her and holds her shoulders in comfort. ]

You don't need to be sorry. I'm glad to see you're safe. Let's go to my house and we'll go find your friends later.

Ah... [She's not supposed to go home with strangers, but... This seems like a very nice lady and what choice does she have? She can't stay out here.]

All right. [With a bit of effort, she pushes herself to her feet again.]

[ Once the little girl is on her feet, Martel gently holds her hand and leads her out of the woods. ]

My name is Martel. What's your name?

[Cheria will gladly take that hand, as she isn't feeling entirely well yet.]
