Ok, so, new plan.
My brother doesn't have Windows XP and he needs it. My laptop has XP. The cost of buying a new copy of XP is equal to the cost of fixing my laptop. My brother is having my laptop once it has been fixed.
I am getting a new laptop. It's little and quick and has a four hour battery life (apparently). My grandma is paying for this laptop on her credit card and I am paying her back for the next twenty years.
So. Dilemma. Grandma is in Derby, I'm in London. You can order it to pick up instore online but you have to pay for it in the shop. So I'm going to ring them tomorrow and see if she can go to the shop in Derby, pay for it, and I can pick it up in London. Otherwise I'm going to be waiting a week for delivery and I WANT IT NOW! And I'm not in most of the time, so signing for it would be an issue.
But, woo! New little laptop I can carry around in my handbag so it's all inconspicious and I don't risk walking around with a rather obvious looking laptop bag. And the battery life means I can watch dvds on the train home. And I can take it into school easily. And it's dualcore. Bwahahaha
