July:
I will first summit this 8,365 ft. volcano. Here is a view of it from the summit trail head:
it looked like this the day before it erupted in 1980 -the most symmetrical and beautiful of all the Cascade volcanoes:
and looked like this when it erupted the next day.
Mount St. Helens!
This is a picture of the mouth of the blast zone that I took last summer:
when I hike it the summit should look something like this:
I will then summit this 12,276 ft volcano.
This Volcano being Mt. Adams (traditionally called Klickitat or Pahto, the second highest Volcano in the Cascades, and the largest (by girth). I will do the non-technical south climb.
the summit will look something like this:
August:
I will go on a two week, 102 mile solo expedition to circumnavigate this 14, 411 ft Volcano
Mount Rainier (traditionally named Tahoma)
The majority of this will be following the Wonderland trail (argued to be the worlds most scenic and amazing hiking trail, every day you summit at least one mountain) with some side trips along the way.
I think in September I will do another big expedition in the north cascades or Olympics, I don't know yet.
I am going to be fucking ripped by the end of the summer though.
