1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
go a year without driving a car (besides before I had a license) Traverse a mountain range, lots of stuff.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister, well that might of been 2005. pretty much within this year.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My dog

5. What countries did you visit?
None.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
some of the goals I set for myself accomplished, maybe even a degree.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
no idea, i am not good with dates. Specific times, yes.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
traversing the Olympics, doing a year of AmeriCorps and starting another year. Not making stupid decisions about girls. Going to a sweat lodge and beginning a reconnection with my native heritage

9. What was your biggest failure?
I didn't so much have failures as I have had mistakes. The most recent one involves saying stupid shit to a girl.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was sick. My goddamn knee.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A t-shirt that has redwood trees on it that says "may the forest be with you"

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Anyone who is being a decent human being.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
those in power, shitty people who do shitty things.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
seeing derrick, hiking, writing, making things, new friends.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Blue light -Mount eerie

both

Thinner

poorer in terms of money but richer in terms of experience and having really great people in my life and in terms of my relationship with the great spirit and the world.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
fighting for the planet, more loving, more laughing, more giving

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Blowing tons of money on food at restaurants with people when making it with them at home is cheaper and often more enjoyable. saying shit without thinking.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
at home in the woods behind my house, with friends (non-human and human)

Yes

Zero.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Planet Earth

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
maybe

26. What was the best book you read?
umm I read Language older than words, that was good, The Earths Blanket, Tom Robbins stuff, Vonnegut. Lots of good books

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Umm, the new Mount Eerie stuff. Right now I have been listening to this band called Stars of the Lid which are really minimalist atmospheric instrumental droning band that are pretty sweet.

28. What did you want and get?
i dunno

a healthy intimate relationship with a female.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Planet earth series, umm I don't remember

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I worked, and then Meg and I went to Le Voyeur and I ate food.

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If civilization collapsed.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
wool sweaters, flannel, and brown pants, sandals and socks (Northwest trash)

34. What kept you sane?
Evergreen trees, mountains, good friends.

What do you mean by fancy?

the planet being systematically murdered by the dominant culture
