Vid finished in time? - Life is good!
I just finished a Christmas vid - I’m absolutely gleeful, even when it wasn’t exactly requested, but I thought I spare charmax the harassment of betaing it. Yepp, it is the one which I was working on/off over the last SPN projects, when I couldn’t bear the angst any longer. I even bounce along with it now - So yeah! It's all done and I'm completely satisfied how it turned out in the end. Heh!
Also thanks to bunnythenavia, artphilia and charmax for the wonderful Christmas Cards now standing on my TV set and the day before yesterday I finally sent mine. One more point off my to-do-list. Except for charmax, because I still need to wrap you package and hopefully will send it Monday. Zohar demanded nicely that I should post more often here and while the sentiment is still fresh in my mind, I do.
Well, I was in Munich last week visiting friends, had a truly wonderful time and that is as exciting as it gets. So I skip the RL and stick to creative pursuits. Or my total bafflement when indexing my Deadwood DVD - has anyone ever heard about 20 frames per second for PAL? Because seriously, I didn’t know that is even a format option there and with all my reading up on that stuff, I thought I at least stumble across a reference or - something beforehand. Nope, first time.
I mean working with it, should be simple, but the geek in me is mystified.
So yes, I’m planning a Deadwood vid in German and to top it off with HipHop. There is still decision making on the second voice and if I really should cut it down like that, but hopefully this comes together fast and I can present it as a Christmas gift to Sandra, since we agreed to play it cheap this year and I can’t. So at least I can add a vid.
Apparently my writing muse has decided to play grinch in the last weeks, which is so distracting. I keep coming back to five out of 29 WiPs I have securely stored on two hard drives and which could wait till - I don’t know - doomsday? I mean she is taunting all along the finished parts and then three paragraphs into the unknown, she fucking stops whispering, which isn’t the way to get anything done. In fact it is plain cruel and reminds me of xandra_ptv, so I decided to ignore my fanfic folder till after Christmas. This should be easier now since I finished proof reading my fics for http://fanfix.de/ and I’m done posting my fics at http://www.fanfiktion.de/.
And that was random and pretty much it.
