Writing Update
Well I have what, five days left to October and still have to finish the werewolf story. I just finished rewriting the SF story for the mundane SF issue. It had to be 5000 words or under. I chopped it from nearly 5900 to 5035 words. I'm thinking I can squeak the 35 through. But maybe I should do this to every story I write--chop off 500 words. It makes it tighter.
So I'll send it off tonight and work on the other semi written one which can't be over 2500 words as long as I get to plot and climax by then. Gah!
Also thinking of having folks over for drinks on Nov. 9. Will confirm later and it will be mostly BYOB come over, chat and drink. Not necessarily a party but if you're seeing this, you're invited.
Still fighting the cold and winning though my eyes have been a slight pink which I have to keep checking. It could be a separate virus. Time for home now.
