OK, I'm going to try to write this today b/c tomorrow of course I will disappear for as long as it takes, and I sure as hell won't be going online until I'm done

LOL. I was listening to "My mistress' eyes" from "When love speakes". (Blames it on katiemaclister whose "Improper English" turned out to be a higly entertaining fast read.)
Do you know the Elton John double album "Blue Moves"? It's a bit hard to find, but eventually I got the remastered CDs on ebay.
Speaking of fannish Shakespeare: I've collected various songs based on poems (not only Shakespeare - also Auden, Frost and others) which I meant to put together for quite some time.
I also had a very pleasant surprise waiting for me in Second Life last weekend.
While usually Second Life is as exciting as watching your underwear in the washing machine (oh ... that reminds me of it still being in there ...) they actually had a great live event based on Shakespeare's A Midsummmer Night's Dream. It was set up at Stephen's Green in Virtual Dublin and many of the visitors were wearing wings and fairy-like costumes. (I also saw an ass ... the donkey variety.)
There was UK rock and then there was a live reading of the play. Then there was a live band playing celtic music, but also with a slightly modern twist.
Should you ever want to try SL (and should your computer be up to it) drop me a line and instead of spending hours on creating a new character you can use my non-existing (*cough*) kinky twin. ;)
(btw ... you wouldn't be able and like to do a short presentation (audio or chat) on Byronic Heroes? I'm a member of two groups that sometimes host talks and workshops there (half an hour or longer, audio or chat) - it might be fun :)

No time for Second Life I'm afraid. I don't even have time for my first one.
