My niece called me

She was calling to deliver the news--I doubt she was thinking about my birthday, although we did have some laughs about things we did as teens. Thank you for the warm thoughts for Judy.

Nobody did anything for me on my b-day. It was just a regular day. Pretty depressing and sleepy, but I did spend some time sending letters out for that MS Campaign and posting about Judy, so at least I spent some of the day trying to do a little good for people other than myself and being reminded I could be so much worse off.

The kids wisely waited until the weekend when Bradley would be there to give me my present together: A season of Jeeves and Wooster on DVD. Yay!

N's going to give me my present when she gets to CA in about a week and a half. Kinda stretches my b-day out, which I don't mind, but I did miss being taken out to dinner.

I did get to watch a DVD w/ Bradley and his friend C. (the one who lives here when Brad's here, unless it's the other way around, but C. is here more often), and I got to choose! I picked "Spider Man 2" which I hadn't seen and which is Brad's favorite movie. I thought it was very good and had fun hanging w/ my tall guys and eating pizza and watching a movie.
