I guess my def. of slash might be more flexible just b/c I find the idea of K/S appalling--and that's only b/c I find the idea of Kirk having sex w/ anyone appalling.

It's funny b/c when we were nine, my best friend and I played "Star Trek," and we were Mary Sues par excellence. She had a thing for Spock, and I had a thing for McCoy, but we were always smarter than they were. :-)

I would say you're a lesbian with "slight" bi tendencies. Like one of the characters on "the L Word"... sexual preference is a continuum. "Slight" tendencies would connote a maybe 15% chance of an actual sexual relationship between a man...in my book. With emphasis on the maybe.

That's about right. But somehow most places don't have that category as one to check off. :-) I almost always have more of an interest in characters than actors, but I'd go for Patrick Stewart in a second. I've probably related this conversation I had w/ a student many moons ago (said student was what he called "bent," not 100% straight, but not extremely rarely finding men attractive):

Student: I'd fuck Sean Connery, but he'd have to talk the whole time.

Me: I'd fuck Patrick Stewart whether he talked or not, but it would be a nice bonus.
