(no subject)
Aww my poor baby. Genevieve was so tired. I knew it but she wasnt falling asleep. So, I had to take her up to her crib and put her in there and let her complain about it for a while. She was getting pretty mad but now she seems quiet in there. She has been really good at putting herself to sleep for bedtime though. We take her up there when she starts rubbing her eyes and usually she falls fast asleep. Finally, she is starting to learn to soothe herself. BUT she still sleeps in her car seat. How horrible is that? anyways.. I hope sometime soon she can sleep in her crib without her car seat. I have had so little time lately.. Nothing going on in my world but being a mommy. The other night steve was carrying her around on his shoulders and she was loving it! I will have to come post pictures. Also I got in touch with an old High school friend of mine. I was so nervous because its been so long that my mind completely went blank and I wasnt saying much~ hopefully he didnt think I was a dork. :) OH and I've decided to get hair extensions because Its to hard to keep up with hair this short (keep getting it trimmed) & now it is growing out and looks horrible! I think its still a little too short for them yet though so maybe by the end of april beginning of may. I have an appt for a consultaion on sat. Hopefully my hair grows a little faster and I can get them soon~ (And hopefully they do a good job and my hair doesnt fall out!) I wish I wouldnt have cut my hair now. :(
In other news, we did hear back from Derek (the guy helping DH get moved into the new job) and he said that his boss is sold on DH and they all really want him to work their. Its just that the new president needs to save money so they wont be able to hire steve until someone quits. Or when derek moves into the new position (his boss is getting moved up so he is taking over that position) he said he will be forcefully removing a woman who doesnt do her job unless she quits so steve can work there. SO yay! :) I just hope its soon because I really need a tan~ ;)
