Party at B. Nektar on August 7th
I can hardly believe it, but on August 7th B. Nektar Meadery turns 2 years old. And like my 2 year old at home, we're very mischievous and at times, naughty.
To celebrate, we're inviting everyone out to the meadery for an afternoon of fun.
Saturday, August 7th from 1PM until 7PM
(homebrew clubs are welcome to arrive early to setup their tents and brewing equipment)

Margarita Mead Release
We'll be releasing the new Margarita Mead. The very small batch we made in 2009 won a gold medal in the 2010 World Expo of Beers.
Meads By the Glass!!
Plan on kicking back and staying a while, because all of our meads will be available to purchase by-the-glass. We'll also have some special/secret kegs of our Wildberry Pyment that's mixed with Faygo Rock & Rye (called the Detroit Suburb) and the Blueberry Stinger (a 7% ABV carbonated blueberry pyment).
BBQ Bob
Our good friend BBQ Bob is back for another year and he's bringing his famous pulled pork. This year, he's got a smoker so big it's built on top of a trailer. He'll be serving up BBQ sandwiches and sides all day.
Live Music
We've got some very talented & musicians and DJs performing for your entertainment.
Meadmaking Demonstrations
We're going to demonstrating the mead making process and will answer your questions. Local homebrew clubs will also be welcome to make their own meads on-site.
What to Bring?
We're expecting more people than we have chairs, so if you want to ensure you have a place to sit, we recommend bringing a camping / folding chair. You're also welcome to bring a pop-up tent for shade. We have some of our own, but we expect them to fill up quickly.
