Feng Haung
Mari, I thought you might find this link somewhat interesting. This is the town of "Feng Haung" in China. Or, in Japanese, the Town of Suzaku (or Hou-ou) ^_^. I've been seeing a lot of "ash" and burning, since I did a ritual the other day. I was feeling fire was the ultimate death, then I remebered what rebirth comes from fire, eeing green shoots in the ash... Then I it struck me that The Phoenix rises from the ash... I've had a few "Fire" and "Mars" elemnts in my life of late. My research also lead me to the fact that Feng Haung plantary assoiation is Mars. Feng is the Male aspect of the bird, and Haung the Female. In true Yin and Yang fashion, Feng is the day and the sun, while Haung is the night and the moon.
