BECAUSE I NEED FUN DISTRACTIONS:

It goes LIKE SO. You comment here and ASK A QUESTION. It can be anything - OOC, IC, relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. my character's opinion of your character, or maybe some specific behavior you've been wondering about, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, who I might consider raping ( Read more... )

What is it that you like best about Disney's Hercules?

Oh, wow. Well, obviously, I love Meg. She's so wonderfully DIFFERENT from the other Disney heroines, and was inspired by the "screwball comedies" of the '40s, a genre of which I am a closet fan. She's also interesting because she's not a princess. She's just some girl who made some really lousy life choices, but she doesn't mope and bemoan her circumstances, and I love that about her.

Secondly: James Woods' Hades. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE? They changed Hades whole character based on Woods' audition.

THIRD: I love the music. I love the gospel take on so many of the songs, and "I Won't Say I'm In Love" is one of my all-time favorite Disney songs.

These three things help me get over the fact that the writers totally ignored pretty much every aspect of Greek mythology. XD

What made you decide to app a character as well-known and, let's face it, ICONIC as Goofy?

That's a good question! Initially, I was not going to app Goofy, instead I was going to app someone else. Fast-forward to maybe two days before counselor apps open, I decide I won't be able to put an app together for this character in time but I should still app someone. Thus, I try to think of someone I know well enough to be able to make a quick app and guess who comes to mind? Goofy. And, as they say, the rest is history.

Question: How did Megara feel about Herculeas and Hades leaving camp?

Well, I took Meg from a really early point in the film; she'd just met Hercules after being rescued from the River Guardian. This would be even before watching him fight the Hydra (which is the point I believe Meg starts to thaw towards Herc). So while she was glad to see a friendly face, no real chemistry had clicked between them, and Herc wasn't in camp long enough for any chemistry TO click between them. So she sort of figures he's better off back home, because camp would've eaten him alive ( ... )
