Misc: Gifts!

Dec 23, 2007 12:20

If you want to play out the gift-givings, drop a note here.  Um -- for Crowley, Abel and the Doctor's gifts will JUST SHOW UP WITH NO EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER because Crowley does not "do" Christmas and thus would not be caught dead giving gifts.  But if you'd like to play out the aftermath, that's cool too. <3

As far as Asta goes, she will leave your gift where you can find it UNLESS you want to receive it IC'ly, in which case much awkwardness will ensue and it will be lots of topping fun.

EITHER WAY: IF I FORGOT YOU LET ME KNOW o-omg picking out fictional gifts for fictional people is harder than it should be.

Crowley:

(All of Crowley's gifts are wrapped nicely.  Really, really nicely.  The paper is dark green, and the ribbon is an even darker green than that, and it's probably real satin.  No notes, except for in Abel's gift.)

Aziraphale:  A multi-layer dark chocolate/raspberry torte, worthy of the Ritz.  Also, one empty wine bottle bearing the Chateau Lefitte label with a note attached:  "To be filled and consumed upon our exit, which coincidentally coincides with a visit to Fiji."
Sophie:  A pair of hairsticks fashioned to look like two tree branches.  Wound around one is a bright green enamel snake.  Dangling from the other is a bright red enamel apple.
Abel:  One very slick, tailored designer suit in navy blue with a dove grey silk shirt, and a silk necktie (pre-tied).  There is also a note in the pocket letting Abel know that neither he, nor anyone he knows will turn into a woman if he wears it, scout's honor.
The Doctor:  A Chaucer manuscript (whichever of the Canterbury Tales appeals most to him).  Also, an apple.

Dot:

(Dot's gifts are wrapped in BRIGHT RED AND GREEN, with huge bows.)

Yakko:  A SHIRT  A life-sized cutout of Groucho Marx
Robin:  ......A Starfire plushie.   ...S-sorry.
ALL OF GIRLS 1:  Gets a box.  A big box.  And whoever OPENS said box will turn THE ENTIRE CABIN INTO A BALL PIT.  YES RLY.  LOVE THE CARTOON PHYSICS.  EMBRACE IT.  PLAY IN IT.  JUST DON'T ASK HER TO CLEAN IT UP WHEN YOU'RE DONE.

Asta:

(It should be noted that all edible goodies were made by Asta with Minagawa's advice and under his close supervision -- as such, they probably taste phenomenal [because, hey, Minagawa], but might look ... homemade [read: somewhat mishapen and wonky and if you laugh she will hurt you]).  All come with a short note on heavy paper that is embossed with her family crest [no, I don't know what it looks like].  Notes are short but personal.  Gifts are wrapped in heavy, dark red paper, and tied with silver ribbons):

Abel:  A decorative tin of chocolate-covered shortbread cookies; a gothic cross (of some kind of silver-looking metal that is not silver -- white gold?) with "tovarish" engraved in Meth on the back.
Seth:  A decorative tin of fancy tea-cookies; a cloisonne butterfly suspended from a green ribbon choker.
Minagawa:  A leather-bound journal (for recipes).
Suzaku:  A set of sparring foils.
Lelouch:  A tin of Turkish Delight.
Matsumoto:  A purple silk scarf.
Cornelia:  A very heavy, very nice tortoiseshell clasp for her hair.
Ricochet:  A tin of sugar cookies, cut-out in holiday shapes and sprinkled with colored sugar, and a small figurine of a bee (a hornet, to be specific~), made of colored blown-glass.
