Convocation and a REFRIDGERATOR

So, now, I am on the waitlist for an anthro class and I have to go to it and convince the professor he wants me in his class. Yay. I love talking to people I don't know, ever so much. However, today at the Academic Fair I had a scary revelation. The couple that Mrs. White taught that teach here actually taught at my studio. I was going to go over to the dance table and make nice with the teachers cause I want to dance in some something this year, but then I saw Mr. Flachs and got scared and veered away. Maybe he won't remember me, but Mrs. White probably told him I was here...
I just feel nervous about it. I kinda wanted a new start in dance, just a little bit. I mean I remember his classes being rather bare and very technical. I prefer a little more personality in my classes. But he is a wonderful teacher.
Today was Convocation. The academic year has officially started and tomorrow is my first real day of class!!!!!!!!! Yes! I am so excited! Hillary thinks I'm a lunatic, but a nice, polite, pliant and giving lunatic. Speaking of which, both my roommates are at the first official Mount Holyoke Party of the year, right before the first day of classes. My head hurt and I kinda want to sleep cause my first class is at 8:35 and I am not positive where it is. But in any case convocation was cool. This one professor gave an awesome speech. I want to take one of his classes now. World Politics...I could do that. You have to wear your year's color to it, mine being red. So I wore those pretty cargo pants with oriental pink flowers on them, but nothing I own/brought matches exceot this light pink tank top that I brought to wear under things and fits indecently. Oh well. Here at Mount Holyoke it is tradition that whenever your year is said, whether in be in the form of actual graduation year or class designation, you shout and scream and make a fuss. I thought I got enough of screaming in high school...maybe it will grow on me...
Kaitlin and I went shopping. We got a fridge and it works and it makes me happy.
I love you all so much and miss you and want/need to hug you. I live near my cell phone now by the way. It will be off during class though, because I don't know how to put it on vibrate. I have classes from 10AM to 12:15PM then2:40 to 3:55 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays and 8:35 to 10:50AM and 12 PM to 1:30PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
