Podcast is still not up. Geez, I actually have time to listen and I want to listen and it's not there! Maybe I should check itunes...

Lee punishing himself felt very in character to me and, gods willing, will have served as the definitive end of emo!Lee now that all of his sins have been publicly exorcized.

Lee was nost definitely in character (Yay!) as both an idealist and as a person that carries around a massive amount fo guilt for every perceived failing. I still don't feel Lee commited mutiny, but was forced to defend the office of the president after Adama ordered an illegal coup. But Lee is just looking at it from the perspective of a military man who disobeyed a direct order.

I guess it was wishful thinking that he had gotten past some of this. And maybe he did. When he turned in his wings it was the start of letting go of his past and making a future for himself. Pehaps he just needed to vent about everything he's kept bottled up inside for three years to really move on. It's a little sad that Adama had to learn so much about his son and himself in open court when he had so many opportunities to talk to him in private.

Oh, that's right, you're playing hooky today! Wish I could get away with a half day today, but I have a conference this afternoon and possibly have to travel for biz later this week. Poo!

I do think Papadama is now in a place where he realizes that his boy was telling the truth when he said he didn't know about Ellen. At least I hope so, or I will have to open a can of whupazz on his fat, lazy ass. The fact that dear old day was swayed by Lee's argument is fan-frakkin-tastic and gives me hope that their relationship is going to get a lot more solid next season.

Btw--thanks for linking to that article in the PG; go my local paper!!
