ARASHI KARAOKE VIDEOS PART 1
AST - Announcing our new project!
We are going to karaoke-sub ALL Arashi song's that we know and love. The catch is, YOU will be the one to make the videos. So we are calling all fanvid makers out there to join and spread Arashi love!
General Rules
1. Your submitted fanvids are considered as an AST project. Which means no distribution of your final fanvid, even if it is made by you. AST has the only right to redistribute it. Credit of course will be given to you.
2. AST has the right to reject any videos that doesn't meet our technical requirements.
3. Have common sense ^^ the video should be arashi-centralized. Example: You want to make a Truth fanvid and you are using clips from Maou. It can be a Ohno-Toma fanvid but NOT a Toma fanvid.
4. The audio should be as it is. Meaning, you cannot re-create or remix songs yourself. Exception goes to FINAL REMIX since it is from the official single.
5. All decisions are final.
6. Videos that has been subbed will be available for download as soon as we can post it up.
How to Claim The Song Titles:
1. Choose three (3) songs from the unclaimed list. List them according to your priority.
2. Send your song choices along with your name and username (LJ or VOX or Wordpress) to salwa_phoenix[at]yahoo[dot]com with the subject: AST FANVID CLAIM.
3. Your claim will be approved or rejected within 12 hours of the time you submitted.
4. We will only approve one song from your list which has not been claimed by anyone before you.
5. In case all your claims have been rejected, you can start the re-claiming process again with your 3 new song choices.
6. You can start making your fanvid after your claim is being approved.
7. After you have submitted your fanvid and it has been approved by us, you can claim another song again. ^^
Technical Requirements:
- video resolution: 640 x 480
- frame rate: whatever suits you
- codec: DivX / xvid
- data rate: 1400kbps should suffice
- audio: 44.1kHz 16bit Stereo 256kbps
- final output: avi
- add 5 seconds of your own title slate which will fade out to black before the start of your video. (something like the beginning of Arashi's One Love PV dvd version)
- try to use good quality images/vids for your fanvid. no pixelated videos please!
- file size should not exceed 100mb (like... seriously, if it's more than 100mb for a 5 minutes video... there's something wrong with your codec)
- end your video fade out to black.

Submission
1. When your fanvid is done, upload them to any servers that is friendly to you (MU / MF / SS / RS etc.). If you have problems uploading them there, please email renna ( pd5han[at]gmail[dot]com ) and she will give you a temporary ftp account for you to upload your fanvid.
2. After you have done uploading, email your fanvid link to salwa_phoenix[at]yahoo[dot]com with the subject: AST FANVID SUBMISSION. Those who are using renna's temporary ftp account, please refer to her for your video link.
3. Your fanvid will be checked as soon as we can finish downloading your video. Please give us about 2 days - 1 week to check your video.
4. We will then send you an email upon approving or rejecting your video.
5. Part 1 of AST's Fanvid-making will end at the end of November, so try and submit your videos before that. If in any case you can't submit before the the dateline, do let us know. Videos that wasn't submitted at the end of Part 1 will be available for claiming in Part 2.
