Halloween
Last night I had class at 7:00, and left at 8, thinking it was 9 to go over to blue_rinse_eyes; I still haven't set my watch back yet. We hung out, pigged out and at 10 4_tin_doors and Ben came over and we all finished getting ready. We all took turns and struggled to pop the lenses out of my sunglasses, so 4_tin_doors could use them for her Wood Allen costume. I dressed up as Annie Hall. Basically me and 4_tin_doors looked like preppies in our khakis. On the way to Schlacthof we ran in to Joseph and when we got there realized we hade to pay a cover. As far as I had heard there was no cover for people wearing costumes, but I think I was intentionaly miss-informed, because people know how cheap me and my friends can be. Oh well... we had a good time and stayed 'till close. When we left there was a fight going on a block away at the cherry lounge, and we heard 3 gun shots, and staggered home.
Saturday night I went to the Warehouse dressed as Elvira (since 4_tin_doors was stuck in Mexico, and I didn't think "Annie" would work well with our "Woody"). Well I didn't quite get my hair big enough, and my cleavage wasn't showing, but what can I say it was a last minute effort, and the dress was bought the day of.. And for those of you that weren't there, blue_rinse_eyes was dressed at Beatlejuice, enthoes_fog as The Joker, Sara as Clockwork Orange, as well as Jade, Jahan as a 1920's cigarettes girl (to bad she had empty packs in her tray, she would have made a killing) Rod as a doctor, Brenine as a nurse, Thiyavat as a Final Fantisy character, Erin as Snow White, and Nathaniel as Manson. I must say it was disappointing that they didn't play and Halloween music, no Bela Lugosi Dead, no Monster Mash, no Every Day is Halloween... maybe next year the bar will use djs that are more appropriate for the occasion.
