Facebook is odd...

A friend texted me the other day and suggested I try to open a facebook because she was. I figured that it wouldn't be that bad. It is really kind of dinky in that there is nothing to it. It appears to me to be a photo album that you can connect to your friends and your friend's friends photo albums. Am I missing the point?

Nope. That's about it. It's like MySpace without the blog. People friend you to say "hey, I haven't seen you in ___ years. Friend me" and then you don't talk to them again unless they leave a comment or constantly send silly applications to throw food at people or make a statement or spank them or whatever. I have one but I rarely use it for anything.
