I really, really want to watch the new Torchwood episode. As in, a lot. It's just not on Sidreel yet. And I don't think it's on TV-links. -pause- Just checked and it's not up there. Arg! Damn living in the US!
But anyway. I should really be doing homework. I say that every post and yet I never do anything about it. Sad.
I have this massive Asia test tomorrow that I haven't really studied for, but I think I should be able to manage a decent grade. I hardly ever study and I still get good grades, so I don't see why this should be any different. I also have free period, study hall, then a free activities block tomorrow, all before Asia, but shhh, don't tell anyone.
I have a Spanish quiz tomorrow and I don't really know what it's about. I think it's about the comparatives and superlatives, but I'm not sure. And I don't have my binder with all my notes and stuff in it, so I don't think very much can be done about that. Meh, it's not like I'll fail it or anything. That sounds really stuck up, but it's true. I honestly can't fail anything in Spanish. Failing, for me at least, takes effort, effort I'm not about to expend failing. I have a 99% average in that class anyway; I hardly think one 80 or something is going to put that in too much jeopardy.
My math homework is not going to get done. It's this intense proof - proving that, I think, when you have a triangle, you bisect two sides, & connect the two midpoints, the length of that segment is one half of the side beneath it - that I really don't want to do. I think we're doing it in class tomorrow anyway, so it's not too important.
I already did my English homework - writing a descriptive poem about a specific moment in time - and then I wrote about five others that could probably work for that, so that's all taken care of.
I should really write my Biology current event critique, but I can't find anything on the digestive system/digestive enzymes. Sad panda.
The really annoying thing about LJ is that one minute it's all exciting and moving really fast, so fast you think you can't keep up with it, and the next it's slow and boring with nothing happening for hours on end. LJ, you need to be more consistent! *g*
I had so many ideas for what to write in this post. I didn't intend to winge about how my homework is 'stifling my creativity' and ultimately 'forcing me to a youthful grave,' it just turned out that way. I always have things to write about that pop into my head throughout the day, I just can't write them down anywhere so I just forget them. Meh. Whatever.
Oh! I've decided to note how long it took me to write these posts. It'll be at the very end in parentheses. Yay.
Andrew's at snowboarding so I'm staying here for at least another half hour. At least. Should be fun. There's absolutely no one in the computer lab, which either means that I'm about to be kicked out or that I can make graphics to my heart's content.
twilight_stills just posted a new challenge, so I might do that. I'm not sure. Before Elise left we were busy requesting Young Love and Mayday Parade songs for the dance (honestly, listen to "Discotech" or "Find a New Way To Dance" by Young Love. They are perfect dancing songs) and trying frantically to think of suitable Cobra Starship songs. We couldn't really think of any. It was very entertaining watching Elise fill out one particular Mayday Parade song - "You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet on the Ground, I'll Be The Wings That Keep Your Heart in the Clouds." It almost didn't fit - I'm willing to bet that the organizers of this soiree will take one look at it and faint. Heh. That would be funny.
This post is too bloody long. Urg.
ETA: Am being kicked out. Fun. (26)
