Hey, so, you know how I asked you guys to punch me if I didn't read Huck Finn?
Well, it seemed to work (I read it more quickly than I thought I would), so I am enlisting your help yet again.
HERE'S THE DEALIO: My AP English Language summer reading book JUST ARRIVED (school started on Thursday). I have an essay on it due on Tuesday. It is roughly 245 pages, and I've read about 75.
IF I DO NOT FINISH THE NEXT 70-ODD PAGES TODAY, PLEASE PUNCH ME.
OR ANNOY ME OR SPAM ME WITH SCARRING IMAGES OR TALK SMACK ABOUT MY MOTHER, I DON'T REALLY CARE. ANYTHING THAT SEEMS LIKE IT SHOULD BE A PUNISHMENT.
My super-epic goal is to finish it today, but it took me way longer than expected to read the first 75 pages - an hour and a half? GET IT AWAY~ - so I realize that that's a wee bit absurd. It would be nice, though, because I would have all of tomorrow to write the essay and think about my mouse-trap car and do all of my other homework.
We shall see.
