For those of you not ~in the know~, Figwit is a character in Lord of the Rings. He appears for about three seconds. His name stands for 'Frodo is great! ... Who is that?' He is played by the lovely Bret McKenzie (of Flight of the Conchords fame). (My love of Bret McKenzie is rather well-chronicled over here.)
ANYWAY. BACK TO THE ~MEAT OF THIS ABSURDLY MEATY AND IMPORTANT AND NOT SPAMMY AT ALL POST (just giving all of my new friends a taste of what they've gotten themselves into):
