through these first few desperate hours

Oct 11, 2008 21:59

I spent the entire day watching the ANTM marathon on VH1 and playing Pokemon Adventure on Facebook. No basically needed. That is exactly what I did. Which is why I'm using this icon. It's ironic, don'tchaknow. And yes, I realize none of you know. Because none of you wrote the keywords for it, and none of you probably know the keywords, but whatever. You're smart people, you can figure it out if you want to (and I think you do).

ANYWAYZ. Shindig at my house is still on. So far Caroline, Kay, Elise, and Tucker are coming. There is still time to decide you want to show up. You can really tell me that up to 4:45 or something, I'm that flexible and that desperate to see you guys. Oh yeah. One day of nothing and I'm already stir-crazy. Except not really. It just sounds good to say so. And apparently I'm saying stuff because it sounds good now? Even though I've done that my entire life, but it seems to be heightened right now? And I seem to be making simple statements questions? And in my brain I sound like John Green that time he was eating five sheets of toilet paper and discussing the political situation in Nepal and answering someone's question about her husband eating toilet paper because he had pica? (And brain me just said that all in one breath?)

I think I've gone crazy. And I have yet to come up with any SMART goals for Girl Scouts tomorrow. Kill me now.

Anyway. Regarding the partay (and sorry to all you non-local friends who must be all 'SCWHAT? THIS GIRL IS BORING! DEFRIEND!' except not really, because you're all too lovely to do that): Bring films. Seriously. Because I don't actually know if I'll be able to get FBDO because I don't actually know where to rent films in NH (so if anyone wants to pick it up on the way over, that would be spiffing)? And by brain's doing that thing again? But yeah. Keep it PG, or PG-13. Nothing that would embarrass us if my parents were to decide to watch with us (or even my brother. OR EVEN JESUS. BECAUSE ME AND HIM? WE'RE TIGHT, MAN. WE'RE LIKE THIS. ... That saying doesn't really work over the internet, does it? Damn. ... Sorry, JC.), because even though that totally wouldn't happen, it's possible that they'll find out what we watched, and if it's even vaguely bad, they will SO TOTALLY KNOW what film it is (and if it's not bad at all they'll have NO CLUE. That's just how it works).

Wow. This is long. It's only this long because while I was typing the majority of it, my internet was dead, as it is wont to do these days. I'm going to see if my father can fix that. He promised he would over a month ago, and he still hasn't done anything about it.

I think I'm just going to stop this right here. Before it gets any longer or more nonsensical/embarrassing.
