What there is to be done about Sean Cassidy and his apparent loathing for their situation, Nate doesn't know. In all likelihood, there's nothing at all any of them can do, if he's so thoroughly emphatic in his beliefs that he'd punch Brad (More than once) even after talking to his daughter about their impending nuptials and what it all means. What Nate does know, though, is that they can't have a repeat of what happened to him this summer. They're an unconventional family, but they are a family, and what affects one of them has the potential to affect them all.
This is why he's spent the afternoon in the Compound kitchen while Remy tidied up their house. Why all four of them are seated at the table in their modest but cozy living area, meeting over shrimp and virgin mojitos.
"We really shouldn't wait until we have problems to do this sort of thing," he idly remarks as he picks up his fork. "At the very least, that probably doesn't help with the impression that Brad and I are sneaking off behind our ladies' backs."
