today was pretty good. =] um.
first block i slept some then woke up and took notes.
second block he just lectured the whole time.
3A we just talked about drugs.
lunch we ate.
3B...craig FINALLY signed my yearbook gah!! i ask SOO much from him *sarcasm* lol. then we ran through our trio some.
omg... art pissed me off so so so much. mrs. G says in front of the WHOLE CLASS "meagan cheek, you need to stop smooching with your boyfriend in the middle of the hallway." i was soo mad. omg. that was extremely rude to say something like that in front of the whole class in the first place, and also, we weren't even doing anything. holding hands, maybe a hug. it was so retarded. and unfair. i hate my art teacher now.
after school just hung out and such. fun stuff. drove home. =\ got home really late cause my grandma made me run a buttload of errands. so i was home for about 10 minutes before craig came to pick me up. i feel bad for making him drive me to aiken, but i can't do anything about it now. anyways we ran into some problems getting to solo and ensemble. we got there at 6:15, and our time was 6:15. so i went and found stephanie and hannah, then we played the piece for mr. gatch, and he told us a buttload of things to do. if he hadn't told us those things to do or whatever we probably wouldn't have done as well. anyways it took so long to find the room, then we had to wait on some middle schoolers to go, and our page chick speeled clarinet "claranet" it was hilarious. so then we got in there. the judge guy was really nice. =] then we played, and we did ok, not the best we've ever played it or anything. so we waited outside the room for like 5 minutes and OMG mr. gatch is the BEST!!
i was like "so, mr. gatch... what's our show for next year?" and he's all "i'd tell you, but i'd have to kill you" so then he was like "no really i'm thinking of three really cool ideas, i just have to pick one, and the music writer can write our show in about 3 days." so he said we were going to get our music in the next few weeks so we can be practicing it over the summer which is WHAT I'M GOING TO DO!! since i'm a dork =D! and he also said that "things are going to be a lot different this year." which hopefully means more disciplined and getting-down-to-business-ish which is what i wanted all THIS season.
in conclusion, i am REALLY excited about our show. =D
and so by the way we got a superior! woot woot! so i got another medal to add to my collection lol. then craig took me home and stayed over here for like 15 minutes then left. he's taking the SAT tomorrow. i'm more stressed about it than he is though lol. well good luck to him, not that he needs it.
so im going to the WP party thing tomorrow, even though i didn't get my invite. =[ oh well!!
