Montreal
So ive been in montreal for a week now, its awesome here.. this experience has been so much different from the first one, seeing as i am not homeless this time, and im not 15 anymore!!LOl but the feeling remains the same, this is still one of the coolest citys ive ever been to. So far i have checked out quite a bit of the city, which i never got around to doing lat time, cuz i was too lazy, and young.
Old montreal was pretty neat, and all the different ethnic districts are really cool, the people in this city definately have a different feeling to them. I went and checked out an anarchist film festival which was awesome, and i plan on going to a few lectures on the concordia university campus before i leave.
the university here seems awesome, and if i get accepted to uvic i hope to transfer here for my second year. there is so much going on here music and art wise its mind boggling. i am gonna go check out a julie doucet art show at some point this week which i am really looking forward to.
and of course the whole smoking indoors thing is great as well, too ba dthey are changing the law in may!! otherwise i think thiss trip has been great for my mental space, it has really changed my perspective on alot on things. its been great hanging out with jean, and seeing my friend nick who i havent seen since i was 18. thinsgs ahve really changed for me in the last 4 years, and although i hate to admit it i think thats a good thing.
