went to the beach yesterday with hayley and tashina (2 of my classmates from grad school who are from out of state)...i took them to huntington beach pier. they sat on some beach chairs while i surfed some. the current was pulling really strongly towards the pier. i would get in the water in front of tower 12 and drift to the pier in a matter of minutes. got some fun waves. but i think i got out of the water and walked back to my original spot like 3 times. tiring lol. and then i had to paddle all the way back out again.
after i surfed, hayley wanted to get in the water and swim around...we did that for a bit and then i got my surfboard and told her to get on it. i was pushing her into the shorebreak waves lol so she could "surf". fun times. then we threw the football around for a while. then we packed up and got some food at wahoo tacos. yuuum! the drive back from huntinton to riverside was super traffic. but it was fun in the car talking and playing games.

oh i also started my summer semester for my grad school...3 classes. one each day- mon, tues, wed. IT SUCKS! and all the info is packed into 8-9 weeks (we normally do it in 16 week sems so 8-9 is really short).
cant wait until july1st...when ill be freeeeeeeeeee :)
