glad to be home...

Work was hell today. The same shit happened today as Monday-- got to work and the computers in our half of the building weren't working. So, then I had to sit in Egypt. Around 7am, we were called back to our desks and around 7:30am the computers went down again. Nicole told us to sit tight and work on whatever we could until the computers came back up, so I did some Secret Santa stuff.

Around 8:15ish, Katie found us all new seats again, only this time me, Brenna, Carrie, and Heather were put in the training room, which is about a mile from everyone else (not really a mile, but you know...), all the way over in the Call Center. We worked for about 45 minutes, went on break and then were told AGAIN to move back to our seats. When we finally got back to our own cubes, Shawnette called us into a team meeting which lastes ANOTHER 45 minutes and ended with everyone being slightly pissed off at me because I wanted to post-pone drawing names for Secret Santa until tomorrow, due to the computers being majorly shitty and the fact that I hadn't gotten anything done because I had been out for two days. I swear that these people do not realize that I have a life outside work. Gah.

So yeah, I didn't get anything accomplished today. I only did 112 orders. Woo-hoo. I thought I was going to have to go home early again because I started having diarrehea again right after I got to work, but my stomach calmed down a little bit. I had cramping all day, but I dealt with it.

So, I brought all my Secret Santa stuff home with me and I'm going to finish it before dinner and "The OC."

Ooh, I did have GOOD news today though- Fatty McBankrupt was transferred to Novartis, which means she's no longer in my group anymore! Woot! She was all trying to brag about it to me today. I just ignored her. Actually she and Carrie were transferred, but Carrie fought back. She didn't want to move and Dawn decided that she didn't have to. Carrie is now going to be trained on Takeda and being moved to the Takeda group from now on. That way, Shawnette doesn't have to hire someone from the outside for Takeda. We do have a new girl starting next week though.

Well, I better get this Secret Santa shit done with.
