008. Who's one person you admire that has nothing to do with Green Day, and why. Martin Luther King Junior. I work with GLSEN, the gay lesbian straight education network, to create safer schools for students of all races, sexual orientations, and gender identity/expression, and his work is really similar to mine. I just really look up to him and model myself after him. Yup.
009. What else are you into other than Green Day/music? I like really poppy rock. the kind of thing you can sing along to, you know. and political stuff. and broadway *blush*

020. Best concert/show you've ever been to (that wasn't a Green Day show) and why? this local one I went to with a bunch of high school bands. I met tons of new friends there, heard amateur music, and experienced the culture of this awesome concert hall that used to be an opera house. It was such a good time. and it was for charity, too.
021. Met anyone from any bands? Tell us about your best/favorite encounter with any other bands. unfortunately, I haven't.
022. What band do you hate so much that you want to rip your arm off just so you have something to beat them with and why? (Give a good reason or I'll rip YOUR arm off just so I have something to beat you with -- THIS MUST BE A BAND [again, no Good Charlotte or MCR or any shit like that, blah blah blah, boring, we don't care] No pop/rap/R&B/country artists/groups/bands, those are all so overplayed I want to vomit) Linkin Park. They were perfectly decent, then they did an album with Jay-Z?! WTF?! now THAT is a case of sellout-age if i EVER saw one...
023. Worst show/concert you've ever been too and why? I could never have a bad time at a concert, but the least fun one was actually my first one. Switchfoot. They were AMAZING, but there was nothing to it. No theatrical-ness or audience participation, and nothing to distinguish the songs from each other.
024. To end on a good note... Who are some of your other musical heros of the sort and why? Meg White from The White Stripes. It is VERY hard for female drummers to become successful in the this music world, but she did it. as a female drummer, I admire her for that.

025. How long have you been a diehard Green Day fan? You are die hard, right? only since American Idiot, sadly.
026. How did you get into them? List the first song you heard, what made you decide you wanted to hear more by them, what was your first impression, ect... give us details, bitch. the first song I ever heard was Good Riddance, and I just sort of liked it but never got into them. Then my best friend Liz made me listen to International Superhits like a week before American Idiot came out. I got American Idiot, fell in love with it, bought the rest of the cds, and well...the rest is history.
027. Have you seen them live? How many times? Include a favorite live moment if you have seen them. I saw them twice. The best moment ever, though, was at my first Green Day concert when Billie Joe yelled "You're the fucking leaders, you have the power, don't let those bastards dictate the rest of the world, or dictate your fucking life!" I have never screamed so loud or strong in my life. It inspired me so much. A week later, I applied for the youth leadership team with GLSEN. I thought back to what he said and decided to go for it, and now I'm working to improve the country.
028. If you could ask each one of the guys one question, what would you ask them. I'd ask Mike why he gave up on guitar and did bass, Billie Joe why he always wears those collared shirts and ties playing live, when he must be sweating like a pig...I mean seriously put on a tee shirt! and Tre probably "Gee Tre, I've forgotten how to hit the toms. Could you wrap your arms around me and show me how?"
029. What is your least favorite (or one that you fucking hate) Green Day song, and why. I don't like Boulevard Of Broken Dreams much, it's necessary for the plot, but kind of boring.

1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours seems like real punk to me. I love how low budget and fun it is.
Kerplunk! is the first album featuring Tre, and I can hear his awesomeness. Tre is the one who inspired me to pick up drums so yeah.
Dookie is kind of more poppy and speaks out more to the average teenager. I love how a lot of the songs on this album are sort of character analyses, like putting oneself in a situation and writing about it.
Insomniac is kind of dark, but the songs are very catchy and I love the artwork on the cover.
Nimrod is more kid-friendly and has a lot of classics on it.
Warning! Ah, warning! my favorite :D It's just so poppy and fun, without losing the meaning in any of the songs. It seems like they were getting more political and stuff, and I just luff how they experiment with different sounds and...ahhh *orgasms again*
Shenanigans is dark, but still very catchy songs. Very political. I can see how it led up to American Idiot.
American Idiot, the album that got me into Green Day! like I said before, I love how I can read and anylize and never run out of little details in the story to discover.

Dookie- Basket Case because it's fun, matches the song, the colors and very pretty, and Mike is just so cute when he walks away from the microphone and the nurse has to lead him there aw!
Insomniac- Geek Stink Breath because it's so original and home made.
Nimrod- Redundant because it touched upon an aspect of the song that people might have to look closer or be clued in on.
