Global Warming:  The BIGGEST man-made LIE ever.

There has always been climate change though out the ages, this is nothing new.

The only thing new about it is that the self imposed Eco-Pope Al Gore wants to tax humans for exhaling C02.

WAKE UP PEOPLE....IT IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!

There are plenty of other good reasons to reduce fossil fuel usage... ellakite June 28 2010, 05:05:54 UTC
I'll admit up front: I believe that human activity is having an impact on the global temperature. However, let's say for the sake of argument that I'm wrong and "Global Warming" is all propaganda. There's another excellent reason to start investing in renewable energy sources: Peak Oil.

The short version: We've consumed about half of the world-wide oil reserves. The rate of supply will start going down in the next decade, which will cause oil prices to sky-rocket and *NEVER* come back down. So if we want to maintain our current standard of living, we'd better come up with some alternative energy sources PDQ.

I am COMPLETELY 100% for re-newable, clean energy. I would rather have solar panels any day than fossil fuels. But this 'Global warming' CRAP is exactaly that...CRAP.

Climate change has been a constant on this planet since the beginning of time, but too many of the ignorant masses buy into this Al Gore hype and take what he says as gosple. What everyone needs to realise is that this illicit government is trying to tax C02, a byproduct of oxygen. How the hell would taxing greenhouse emissions hepl the enviorment? This Global warming is a lie, Climate change is a constant and it is natural. By the way, I am against nuclear energy as well. :-)

side note: How is you supervisory job going? :-)

I agree that the climate changes on its own... ellakite June 28 2010, 07:47:34 UTC
I am familiar with ice ages and warming trends that have occurred prior to the extensive use of fossil fuels. I am also aware of other natural factors (volcanism, sunspot activity, etc.) that have been connected to global temperature change ( ... )

I wish I was wrong about this...But when you look at some of the other comments, these sentiments are echoed.

The money that is being collected for C02 emmisions are NOT being 'invested' into renewable energy sources but are being to private banks who want this C02 tax. Global warming and Global cooling are not going to be resolved by a C02 tax.

Also, I DO NOT listen to any mainstream media anymore, as they do not report the whole truth (or any of it, for that matter.) It seems that independent media is the only place to go to find what is really going on in this world now.

I *WILL* read the sites when I get the chance... ellakite July 1 2010, 04:44:23 UTC
... and I have also read the book STATE OF FEAR by Michael Crichton, in which he tries to make the case that The-Powers-That-Be are exploiting the "crisis" for their own ends. I am a huge fan of Crichton's work, and found his position interesting -- the man made a reputation at thumbing his nose at *ALL* authority figures. However, at the end of the book, Crichton gives source information for the "raw data" about Climate Change, and encouraged the reader to make up their own mind after looking at the facts. So I did just that... and I still came away believing that the temperature rise in the latter portion of the 20th Century is a man-made phenomena ( ... )

To be honest, I don't consider it "fraud" or "crap". The models and whatnot that are predicting global warming are sincere, and there is a very real temperature rise (especially in the Arctic) that is driving the models ( ... )

*Climate Change* has been around since the beginning.

Tempature rise and fall have been around since the beginning of the ages. But you really don't hear anyone admittinng to that in the scientific world right now, do you? In all respect Soundwave, This 'global warming' is doing nothing more than to scare the masses into paying into a tax (which, by the way does NOT go into finding re-newable sources of energy...but to the banks who are pushing for this global C02 tax.)

It is a tax that could destroy our economy and I am not pay into anymore taxes with out representation.

Have a great one, Soundwave. ;-)

Climate change has been around in the beginning. And no one has IMHO conclusively proven that the temperature rise (which is real) is linked to CO2 ( ... )
